This book presents a group of images taken between 1998 and 2008 in Sardinia in the village of Santu Lussurgiu. It's the second installment of the photographer's triptych. The first was a portrait of the city of Tulle and the third will be devoted to the ongoing work on a kibbutz in Israel.
"Up until my work on Bremen, I'd never experienced this type of territory, my almost exclusive focus on portraits distracted me from landscapes. I was so distrustful of populist clichés and national local color that I'd never even attempted to capture the settings of my Parisian origins." (Patrick Faigenbaum).
