CIRVA, the International Center of Research on Glass and Visual Arts, was created in 1983 and has been established in Marseille since 1986. This research and production studio center welcomes artists, designers and architects who are interested in incorporating glass into their creative process.
This book takes us into the studio where the works of artists such as Giuseppe Penone, Pierre Soulages, James Lee Byars, Robert Morris, Pierre Huyghes, etc. and designers such as Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec take shape with the help of the center's technicians.
