This limited edition includes a signed copy of the book Seed Stories accompanied by a a colour archival pigment print of Thierry Ardouin on Hahnemülhe Fine Art paper: ASTERACEAE – Calendula Officinalis L., Common marigold. The photographic print, signed by the artist, and numbered from 1 to 15, is produced by Frédéric Jourda of the Picto laboratory in Paris.

A second limited edition includes the following print: SAPINDACEAE – Majidea Zanguebarica J.Kirk Ex Oliv., Mgambo black-pearl tree. 

Based on an original idea by Xavier Barral, several years ago, and the result of a long term collective work, Seed Stories explores the importance of diversity and interrogates the connection with our roots. The seed is a marvel of appearance, a perfection of form and colour. It possesses a morphology that is both necessary and strange, capable of arousing astonishment, questioning or contemplation. Chosen, lit and framed with the greatest care, the seeds photographed by Thierry Ardouin disturb our subjectivity as spectators : they become symbols which, far from being generic images, question our relationship to origin.
