Rediscovered on the occasion of the preparation of the exhibition Ici ailleurs at the Centre Pompidou, the original model of the book about Pepe and Tony, two fishermen from Ibiza in 1956, had never been published. In the humanist vein of its work, it is the only personal project of Stettner that is associating photographs and text. Alternating wide and moved closer plans, seen from above and low-angle shots, it splits up the subject in a cinematographic rhythm. The photographer celebrates at the same time the energy of the manual labour and the simple pleasures of the everyday life.

Sixty years later, the Éditions Xavier Barral publishes part of this series in the book Ici ailleurs as well as a facsimile of the model in its original size. The latter comes in a limited edition of 50 along with a photograph printed by the artist.
