On the occasion of his last exhibition at the Maison européenne de la photographie (MEP), Jean-Luc Monterosso backtracks on a whole generation of French contemporary photographers, whom he accompanied, from the 1980s until today. He discloses, in what appears as a diary, his very favourites and claims his engagements, through a subjective choice of about fifty photographers. He also reveals the beginnings of the MEP and revisits those years, during which everything was to be built, in an interview with Sophie Bernard.
