Eva Jospin exhibition in Giverny

The Musée des impressionnismes in Giverny presents the exhibition Eva Jospin.De Rome à Giverny, the result of a carte blanche to the artist.
Alongside the works of Caillebotte, Monet, Bonnard and Denis, selected by Eva Jospin from the museum's collection, her cardboard forests, intricate drawings and a section of her monumental "Chambre de soie" embroidery make up a journey where nature and dreams reign supreme.

Throughout the exhibition, the public discovers a meticulous work revealing a universe inspired by both the Italian world of caves and nymphs and also by gardens.

On the occasion of the exhibition, we publish De Rome à Giverny, the first monograph of the artist gathering her major works. The book offers a visual exploration of her work from drawing to embroidery, from sculpture to huge cardboard installations and immersive architectures, as well as a trip to Eva Jospin’s studio. So many sizes and media that witness to the richness and singularity of an organic universe celebrating a sovereign nature. It ends with the presentation of the two sculptures made this year for the garden of the Musée des impressionnismes Giverny.A long interview between Eva Jospin and Cyrille Sciama, director of the Museum, accompanies this journey.
