Accompanying the release of Gao Bo's monograph, Tibet 1985-1995, Offrandes, we offer a limited edition box set including a copy of the book and the opposite silver print. Gao Bo enhances each print using his blood as ink to create a fictional calligraphy he refers to as "language of the soul". With this process, Gao Bo highlights the limits of language and strives to overcome the incommunicability of his experience in Tibet. For him, it is less of a sacrifice than an offering.
