Born in 1993, Thaddé Comar graduated from the ECAL in Lausanne in 2018. His photographic practice is closely linked to social movements and current affairs, he worked for several years on the Black Bloc movement in Paris. His previous book, How Was Your Dream? (Mörel Books, 2022), dealt with the protests in Hong Kong that took place between June and October 2019, and the new forms of insurrection occurring in highly oppressive countries. Thaddé Comar’s photographic work is regularly exhibited, notably at the Athens Photography Festival, the Fotomuseum Winterthur and the f2 Fotofestival in Dortmund. He currently lives between Lausanne and Paris.
