Born in 1967 in Rennes (France), Christophe Maout became a photographer in the early 1990s. He regularly collaborates with the French (Liberation, Le Monde, Télérama, etc.) and international press. At the same time, he develops a personal work where the most immediate daily life has become over the years the main source of his work. His different series are crossed by themes such as nature, the city and more recently exile. He has notably exhibited at the Festival of Photography and Fashion at the Villa Noailles in Hyères, at the Rencontres d'Arles, at the Fotomuseum in Rotterdam and at the Noorderlicht Festival.
