Born in 1968 in Santiago de Chile, Rodrigo Gómez Rovira moved to France in 1973 as his family exiled. After studying human sciences and communication in Paris, he dedicates himself to photography. In 1996, he goes back to Chile for the first time after having boarded on a Polish cargo.
Rodrigo Gómez Rovira is a member of the VU’ agency. He lives and works in Valparaíso where he runs the Festival Internacional de Fotografía since its creation in 2010.
After Répertoire (Raul Gomez, 2013), which gathers the photographic archives of his father, Ultimo Sur is Rodrigo Gómez Rovira’s second book.
