Wojciech Zamecznik

Wojciech Zamecznik (1923-1967) is an influential figure of the post-war Polish arts scene. He became interested in photography early on and was a pioneer in the medium’s association with the graphic arts. Zamecznik is renowned for his vast array of posters (over 200) but his field of activity covers various domains: publishing (magazine covers and book design), music (posters, album covers), film (posters, credits, films), and exhibitions.
