Visual artist, videographer and novelist, Valérie Mréjen (born in 1969) combines art, literature and cinema in her practice. She is an associate artist at the Théâtre National de Bretagne in Rennes alongside Mohamed El Khatib. Showing a great interest in everyday life, she films ordinary people and seemingly banal aspects of everyday life. She is also interested in language, its difficulties and sometimes, even its absence. Valérie Mréjen lives and works in Paris. She is represented by Anne-Sarah Bénichou gallery.
