Christine Barthe

Director of the Heritage Unit of the photographic collections of the Musée du Quai Branly, Christine Barthe is also in charge of acquisitions in past and contemporary photography. She has curated the exhibitions Le Yucatán est ailleurs, Expéditions photographiques (1857-1886), Désiré Charnay (2007), Patagonie, images du bout du monde (2012), and Nocturnes de Colombie, images contemporaines (2013) at the Musée du Quai Branly and co-curated Photoquai (2007, 2009 and 2011). She is the author of many scientific articles and was also head editor of Patagonie, images du bout du monde (2012).
