Diane Dufour

Diane Dufour is director of LE BAL, a contemporary images centre for photography, video, cinema and new media that uses the visual arts to hold up a mirror to society. Diane Dufour has also conceived many books about contemporary photographers, including Mark Cohen : Dark Knees, Lewis Baltz : Common Objects, Dirk Braeckman : Sisyphe and Mark Lewis : Above and Below. She is the instigator of Curators’ day, a project exchange platform involving 30 European museums. She was European Director of Magnum Photos from 2000 to 2007.
