Raphael Dallaporta designed especially for the Chauvet cave, famous for hosting the first known drawings of Humanity, an automated shooting device that allowed him to reconstruct his complex volumes and details in pictures. By showing on big-screen these black and white shots, deployed in the form of planispheres and accompanied by a sound composition, the installation offers an unprecedented reading of these landscapes and establishes, beyond the archaeological evidence, a new ritual with the image.

Those 70 B&W photographs are included in the book Chauvet - Pont d'arc, L'inappropriable, published in 2016 by Éditions Xavier Barral .
